Are you wanting to know how to register your child? Would you like to find out about funding you are entitled to? Find the anwers to all these questions and more below.
Here are some suggestions to create your own sensory area at home:
Lava Lamp – a vessel that creates bubbles and/or changes colour. Different lighting can provide a soothing and calming effect.
Different sized mirrors – mounted on the wall or positioned safely low down for children to look into
Sensory bottles – these can easily be made using old plastic bottles and filling with various items such as dried pasta, rice or lentils etc.
Texture Box – fill a box with different textured items such as fabrics, wooden objects, metal objects.
Music – use a range of music to create that relaxing atmosphere.
Ball Pool – this can be as simple as purchasing a small paddling pool and filling it with soft balls, or you can purchase an actual ball pit.
How do I register my child for a place at Incredible Kids?
Contact Us so that we can discuss your specific requirements. When you have decided that Incredible Kids is the best setting for your child all you will need to do to register is to complete a registration form and pay a registration fee where applicable.
When are my Nursery fees due?
Nursery fees are due in advance, on the last working day of the month.
Should you envisage any problems in paying your fees at any time please speak with the Nursery Manager in advance.
What are my payment options?
Payments can be made by Bank Transfer, Tax-Free Childcare, Debit Card or Cash.
What happens if I am late collecting my child?
If you think you are going to be late for collection, please telephone the nursery as soon as possible and a member of our team will care for your child until someone comes to collect them. We charge £5.00 per 5 minutes for “after hours” care when you are late. This applies to all times of the day.
What if I want to change my sessions?
Incredible Kids nursery requires four weeks written notice if:
+ You wish to decrease your child’s session(s)
+ You no longer require your child’s place
* Please note we do not swap sessionsIncredible Kids strongly advises that children are not sent to nursery wearing their best clothing.
We provide aprons for more messy activities and whilst every effort is made to ensure that your child is kept in a respectable state we cannot guarantee that your child will come home spotless!
Incredible Kids will not take responsibility, or offer any financial compensation, for any accidental damage etc. to the children’s clothes.
Toys and valuables are also discouraged as these may become lost or damaged, however we understand the need for children to bring comforters with them.
When children start nursery, we ask that you please provide your child with the following items:
+ A change of clothes
+ Any comforters
+ Nappies and nappy cream (where required)
+ Formula/Breast milk (where required)
+ Appropriate outdoor clothing
+ Preferred Bottle / Cup
Government Funded 15 hours childcare
All 3 (three) and 4 (four) year-olds in England are entitled to 570 hours of Early Education Entitlement. This is often taken as 15 hours per week for 38 weeks of the year.
Children become eligible for this funding from 1 September, 1 January or 1 April (the start of term) following their 3rd (third) birthday.
Some 2-year-olds are also eligible for 15 hours Government Funded childcare. To see if you are eligible, please click here.
Government Funded 30 hours childcare
You may be able to get up to 30 hours childcare (1,140 hours per year, which you can choose how you take) from when your child turns 9 months old.
If you’re eligible for the extra hours, you sign up online to get a code to give to your childcare provider to reserve your place. You’ll get the extra hours once the next term starts.

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) sets the standards for the learning, development and care of children from birth to 5 years old. All schools and Ofsted-registered early years providers must follow the EYFS, including childminders, preschools, nurseries and school reception classes.
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework supports an integrated approach to early learning and care. It gives all professionals a set of common principles and commitments to deliver quality early education and childcare experiences to all children.
As well as being the core document for all professionals working in the foundation years, the EYFS framework gives Parent/Carers confidence that regardless of where they choose for their child’s early education, they can be assured that the same statutory commitments and principles will underpin their child’s learning and development experience.
The framework:
+ Sets the standards that all Early Years providers must meet to ensure that children learn and develop well
+ Ensures children are kept healthy and safe
+ Ensures that children have the knowledge and skills they need to start school
As a provider, we are required to report any safeguarding concerns about the children attending Incredible Kids Nursery. Our setting appoint Designated Safeguarding Leads, who work closely with outside agencies to promote the children’s health and wellbeing.
If we do have a concern about a child’s welfare, then the Social Care Team and Ofsted will be informed.
All nursery staff undertake extensive safeguarding training to recognise and respond to any safeguarding concerns.
