At Incredible Kids Nurseries, we provide a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment where children can learn, grow and develop confidence through play, exploration and individualised support.
About Incredible Kids
Incredible Kids was established in 2013 by entrepreneur and mother of six, Samantha Corbin, on the site of the former Pride Park Day Nursery in Derby. Sam soon went on to increase the Incredible Kids offering via the acquisition of our Hilton setting in 2014 and new-build of Ashby in 2016.

Sam’s passion for childcare shines through the welcoming, diverse and nurturing environments that have been created for all of our Incredible Kids and employees alike. We strive for brilliance in everything that we do.

Sadly, Sam lost her short battle with Cancer on Sunday 16th July 2017. The Incredible Kids team, under the direction of Chris Corbin (Sam’s husband), work tirelessly to deliver on Sam’s mission:

What makes our nurseries so Incredible?
Both of our Children’s Day Nurseries are purpose built with wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces, filled with engaging toys and fun activities that stimulate exploration and learning, for each child’s developmental stage:
Outdoor Areas
All of our children have plenty of opportunities to get fresh air.
Safety
We take your child’s safety seriously. The use of Mobile phones is prohibited throughout the nurseries. Our front doors are intercom controlled and we use high handles and vision panels along with CCTV in each of our rooms.
Parking
Free private off-road parking, ensuring that drop-off and collection are as safe and hassle-free as possible.
Sensory
Each of our sites has its own sensory room, which all children have access to.
Cleanliness
We take pride in our settings which is demonstrated by our 5-star food hygiene ratings and cleanliness.
Separate Sleeping Area
Sleep is important for babies to develop their social skills and that is why we have created separated areas for your little ones to sleep. Our separate, quiet and relaxed sleeping areas allow unlimited viewing so that your child is always monitored. Staff are trained in Safe Sleeping.
Extra-Curricular
We bring in extra-curricular activities to enhance stimulation and developmental learning of our children. On occasions we take the children out of the nursery settings to explore their surroundings.
Nutrition
All of our brilliantly balanced meals are prepared from fresh, on-site, by our experienced Cooks. We can cater for all types of allergies and dietary requirements as almost all of our ingredients are sourced through traceable suppliers. Check out our menus here.
Highly Qualified Staff
Our Highly qualified staff are recruited based on their qualifications, experience and passion for childcare. We are extremely proud of our highly qualified teams and the depth of experience that they bring to our settings. Ongoing development is paramount to us, demonstrated in the fact that all of our employees will hold a Paediatric First Aid (PFA) training qualification.
Truly Amazing Child Care
Incredible Kids Day Nurseries are committed to achieving ‘Truly Amazing Childcare’, helping children to develop through the early years alongside a commitment to ethical, environmental and moral values.
Our nurseries are all purpose-built with extensive indoor and outdoor play areas for children to learn, play and enjoy. We constantly review our settings to ensure that our high standards are achieved and that the rooms are stocked with resources for exploration and developmental learning.

We offer full time and part time places for children aged between 0 and 5 years and form strong partnerships with Parent/Carers.
Performance in Numbers
Key Person
We understand that young children need familiar adults to depend upon for support, reassurance and comfort which is why the role of the Key person is very important as they will work along-side parents/carers to ensure that continuity of care is given.

At Incredible Kids Day Nurseries, we are very proud of our Key Person approach where we assign an experienced key person to each child who joins our nursery so that they always have a dedicated, familiar adult whom they can trust available to them.
​
It’s a special role that involves responsibility for working with a small number of children giving them reassurance to feel safe and cared for. The key person also builds close bonds with Parent/Carers as we recognise that Parent/Carers are their children’s most important educators and work with us to encourage continued learning at home.
​
Our Key Person helps our babies and children become familiar with their settings and to feel confident and safe within them. They build a genuine bond with their children and offer a settled, close relationship, comfort and support.
We understand that when children feel happy, safe and secure in this way that they are confident to explore and try out new things.
